Wolf Inflatable Mascot Makes an Impact at Parades & Sports Events
Newly Merged School Gets a Bump in School Pride with a Custom Inflatable Mascot
North Caddo Elementary Middle School faces some exciting challenges. Formed by the merger of two local magnet schools, this Vivian, Louisiana school must forge its own unique identity... and elevate school spirit in the process.
That's where "Wolfie" comes in. Built by Landmark Creations, the giant inflatable sports a classic white T-shirt with the school's Wolfpack logo, and realistic wolf-like features.
According to Nicolas Cunningham, Caddo's assistant principal of administration, Wolfie's purpose is to "promote school spirit and school pride for our newly merged campus." To that end, says Cunningham, the school showcases the new inflatable mascot "at major school functions such as sports games, cheerleader [events], dance line, Back to School Night, Family Night, Homecoming etc."
Caddo's 850 students love Wolfie, and they've rallied around the giant inflatable at parades and school events. "[Wolfie] increased school pride and spirit," reports Cunningham, "and promoted a positive atmosphere on campus for our kids."
Why did Cunningham choose Landmark to create the inflatable mascot? He saw Landmark's advertising, he says, and he was impressed with the firm's willingness to work closely with the school. The result is a win-win for everyone – school, students, community.

- Sam Baker, Head Football Coach at Waconia High School
“The inflatable finish arch looked fantastic! Local media was also there filming, so photos and videos of our race were viewed by many with our logo front and center.”

- J. Werth, Ivar's Restaurant

- Laurie Henry, Trinity Science Solutions LLC
“The setup is so easy. We have had event tents and other promotional items in the past that were a nightmare to set up and break down. The inflatable is now the easiest part of the setup, and probably the most identifiable.”
